Now is the time to start thinking ahead - If you don't know where you are going, how can we help you get there?

Are you confused about which degree you want to pursue? It can be very helpful to know which path you are taking before you take too many courses.
Different degrees and certificates require different courses-so you want to make sure you are taking things that will count toward your program. Furthermore, if you are receiving help in paying for school (i.e Financial Aid, V.A., Worker Retraining), you will be expected to declare a program and then follow the specific requirements for your degree or certificate.
If you don’t know which degree you are going for, you can indicate this on your assessment at the end of this course. You will be assigned to the Student Advising Center for your advisor . Once you decide on a degree path, we can re-assign you to a faculty advisor in your area of study.
Attending a Career Explorer’s Workshop is the first step in the career planning process at South Puget Sound Community College. This free workshop will help you develop self-understanding using interest, personality, and skills inventories.
Keep in mind that the only course common to all degrees is English 101. Other than that it makes it hard for advisors to recommend classes if you don't know what you want to do.
